IQ City Medical College Hospital, Durgapur celebrated its Annual Day on 9th September 2019 at the IQ City Greens. The programme was presided over by Chief Guest Mr. Dilip Kumar Agasty, Hon’ble Mayor of DMC(Rtd. IAS Officer).
The program began with the lighting of the lamp by our respected Chairman, Mr. Sanjay Jhunjhunwala, and other dignitaries. The Chief Guest was given floral welcome before the inauguration of the programme. In his speech, he spoke of the College’s achievements in Academics and Co-curricular arenas. Prizes were given to the toppers and other deserving students. Dr. Biswaroop Chatterjee of the Para-Clinical Department (Microbiology), Dr. Sayongdeepa Roy of the Pre-Clinical Department (Anatomy) and Dr. Sougata Kr. Sarkar of the Clinical Department (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) were awarded with certificates and prizes for being the best faclty. White Coat & Stethoscope Ceremony was the main attraction of this event.
The program ended with some melodious performance by College Band “Homebound”.
