Prof. (Dr.) Raghunath Misra has completed their M.B.B.S from North Bengal Medical College (Darjeeling), a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (DTM & H) from the School of Tropical Medicine (Kolkata), and an MD – Social & Preventive Medicine (SPM) from All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health (Kolkata). Before joining IQ City Medical College and Hospital, Durgapur he was associated with Medical College (Kolkata) as Principal, IPGME & R and SSKM Hospital (Kolkata) as MSVP, R. G. Kar Medical College (Kolkata), Bankura Sammilani Medical College (Bankura), NRS Medical College (Kolkata), , Burdwan Medical College (Burdwan), College of Medicine & Sagore Dutta Hospital (Kamarhati), IQCMC & H, Durgapur as Principal. In this process, he has been serving more than thirty-six years in different positions of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal (WBMES and WBHS).
