Admission

To get an MBBS seat in West Bengal through NEET counseling, you need to first qualify the NEET-UG exam. Then, you'll register for the West Bengal NEET counseling process through the West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC). This involves online registration, document verification, choice filling, and seat allotment. Finally, you'll need to report to the allotted college and complete the admission process. Here's a more detailed breakdown:

1. NEET-UG Exam:

Pass the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Your score and rank in NEET will be used for counseling.

2. Online Registration for Counseling:

Visit the official WBMCC website, create an account and complete the registration process, pay the required registration fee, and fill in your personal details.

3. Document Verification:

Upload necessary documents online. Participate in physical document verification as per the schedule. Required documents may include:
  • NEET-UG Admit Card and Rank Card.
  • 10th and 12th Mark Sheets and Certificates.
  • Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile Certificate (if applicable).
  • Other required documents.

4. Choice Filling:

Fill in your preferred medical colleges and courses in order of preference. You can use the choice-locking feature to finalize your preferences.

5. Seat Allotment:

The seat allotment list will be released based on your NEET score, rank, and preferences. Check the allotment results on the WBMCC website.

6. Reporting to the College:

If you have been allotted a seat, report to the designated medical college. Complete the admission process by submitting original documents and paying the required fees.
