About IQ City Medical College

IQ City Medical College, founded in 2013, is a private, non-profit institute with a mission to provide holistic medical education. The College is the largest Medical College in Eastern India. The college offers MBBS (200 seats) and MD/MS programs (54 seats across multiple specializations), nurturing compassionate doctors committed to serving the nation. With more than 850 students, it boasts advanced facilities, including a 1200-bed hospital where students gain hands-on experience with diverse patient cases.

Located within the 100-acre IQ City Health & Knowledge Campus, the hospital is Durgapur’s first multi-specialty medical center with a college. State-of-the-art amenities include nine operation theaters, ICU services, a Burn Unit, an Accident and Trauma Center, a Blood Bank, and a Pharmacy.

In just 4 years, IQ City Medical College Hospital, Durgapur has successfully performed a variety of major surgeries/procedures at the 9 (nine) fully equipped Operation Theaters. With the latest ICU services, the hospital is highly specialized in invasive and non-invasive cardiac treatments by eminent cardiologists and cardiac surgeons of international and national repute.
More than 2500 diagnostics tests in various disciplines can be performed round the clock in-house with the help of high-end instruments.
